Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DAS systems, ensuring high-quality performance and connectivity. You will work collaboratively with our engineering and technical teams to deliver optimal wireless coverage solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission DAS components including antennas, cables, connectors, and other related equipment.
• Interpret and follow DAS design and layout schematics provided by design engineers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DAS installations, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility and requirements of potential DAS installations.
• Ensure that all installations are compliant with industry standards, safety protocols, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with other trades and teams on-site to ensure smooth and efficient installation processes.
• Provide feedback and reports on installation progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers and engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry techniques, tools, and technologies related to DAS installations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a DAS Installer or a related role in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of DAS components, RF principles, and cellular technologies.
• Familiarity with various testing equipment such as signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and PIM testers.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical stamina and ability to climb, lift heavy equipment, and work in diverse environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certification from a recognized industry body is a plus (e.g., iBwave certification).
